{"id":139,"date":"2017-04-22T13:43:18","date_gmt":"2017-04-22T13:43:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eraitech.net\/src\/?p=139"},"modified":"2017-11-29T12:08:09","modified_gmt":"2017-11-29T12:08:09","slug":"most-gcc-construction-workers-expect-to-stay-in-region-in-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/srccont.ae\/?p=139","title":{"rendered":"Most GCC construction workers expect to stay in region in 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>The majority of\u00a0<abbr class=\"glossarizer_replaced\" title=\"\" data-hasqtip=\"1\">GCC<\/abbr>\u00a0construction workers expect to remain in the region during the coming 12 months.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is one of the findings of\u00a0<em>Construction Week<\/em>\u2019s 2017 Salary Survey, full results of which will be published on 2 December, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>While more than half (52%) of respondents to\u00a0<em>CW<\/em>\u2019s 2017 Salary Survey intend to change<!--more--> jobs during the next 12 months, 86% of these individuals expect to stay in the\u00a0<abbr class=\"glossarizer_replaced\" title=\"\" data-hasqtip=\"2\">GCC<\/abbr>\u00a0\u2013 a slight year-on-year rise.<\/p>\n<p>Of those who do intend to leave the Gulf, Europe retains its crown as the destination of choice (30%) among this year\u2019s respondents. Australasia is the second most popular destination for relocation (23%), and North Africa is tempting 15% of this year\u2019s cohort.<\/p>\n<p>Every year,\u00a0<em>Construction Week\u00a0<\/em>invites the\u00a0<abbr class=\"glossarizer_replaced\" title=\"\" data-hasqtip=\"5\">GCC<\/abbr>\u2019s construction community to complete a brief questionnaire in a bid to find out how their wages compare with those of their peers.
